La Ville D'ys - Rennes

I love a good creperie, and this definitely is one. I visited 4 years ago in October time and plan to visit again soon. The little restaurant is one of many little ones along this street, but I'm glad I entered this one. It's so beautiful inside, the waitress was very nice (way back when! I remember that I had an egg and cheese Galette very simple but so delicious that I've been trying to replicate it ever since. I also had a salted caramel crepe which was divine. This place is one of the many lovely places to eat in Rennes, but I know for a fact that the atmosphere inside is homely and warm, which makes it above the others, for me.

We had a lovely lunch here and service was friendly and very fast. We had cider, a savoury crepe each and a dessert crepe each. Everything was made fresh and the savoury crepe included a salad. The dessert crepes included homemade caramel (au beurre sale) sauce that was really a treat. Bill was about Euros 39.

Realy nice restaurant with excellent gallettes and ice creams. I had a pancake with eggs and some kind of a cheese, after that I tried some ice creamed gallettes. Simply brilliant. The restaurant is located in the heart of the city. It has got a two floor, we had our meal upstairs. It's like old-fashioned interior, the service was pretty good.

Excellent crêperie in a very pretty little street. very good with good fresh products. We loved it. fast service and very pleasant staff. a recommend

Excellent galettes, the only flat is the staff (all female) who reminds me of being in france. always pay attention to repeating the exact pronunciation of my French school !!
