La Timonerie - Rennes

This cafe is located opposite the Novotel. We called in for breakfast and enjoyed a tea, a coffee and two croissants. The croissants cost €1.70 each. The service was friendly we enjoyed our breakfast for a much lower cost than hotel prices.

Just popped in for a drink were offered a few tapas style nibbles to go with. Very friendly hostess, would definately return for a drink maybe more.

Whether this is during the season or the rest of the year an address has not been missed. Home always warm and smiling the dorade tartar with a saffron ice cream is a real killer don't miss out on dessert the originalities housebref an address not to miss

I stopped in this place with one of my colleagues to get an aperitif. very nice place and the very nice and pleasant owner. We had a good beer and excellent local white wine. I highly recommend it.

I went to this establishment just to drink a glass of wine but the welcome is excellent, the warm atmosphere and the tasteful wines.
