We sampled their Green curry, Yellow curry, Sweet basil stir fry, and Mango cream brûlée Cheesecake with Passionfruit ice cream. The portions were smaller than anticipated, but the quality remained excellent. Each dish we tried was delicious, and the service was delightful. They also offer a separate vegetarian menu with a variety of dishes suitable for vegetarians. Overall, we give it a 5 out of 5 for taste, 4 out of 5 for interior, and 5 out of 5 for service.

The food at The Ginger was fresh, well presented, and innovative, showcasing a fusion of French techniques with traditional Thai recipes. For starters, we tried the Prawn Ginger Tacos, which were cooked perfectly and served on kumara slices with a tasty tamarind sauce. For the main course, we ordered the Ginger Salad and Panang Beef Curry with roti and rice. The snapper in the salad was fresh and crunchy, with a zesty lemon flavor. The Panang curry had a nice mildness, but was a bit too salty and the beef could have been more tender. However, the roti was excellent, with a milky flavor and perfect texture. The presentation of the food at The Ginger is top-notch, with delicate portions and slightly higher prices that reflect the dining experience. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, although we were too full to try any desserts. Maybe next time! Overall, The Ginger is a great choice for Thai food with a rating of 8.5/10 for food, 10/10 for food presentation, 9/10 for service, 9.5/10 for ambiance, and 8.5/10 for value for money. The price is around $50 per person (excluding alcohol).

What has happened at our local go to Ginger restaurant? Reservation 6.30pm, arrived a bit earlier. Great food starters, mains but when we asked for desert and drink menu at 7.15 pm, were advised no further service as they needed our table. Hold it $170.00 in and ready to spend more. A real destruction of years of patronage. If they had advised dress in running gear, gobble your food quickly and bring a doggie bag for dessert, we could have gone elsewhere, but this is not the superb Ginger we patronise. We appreciate restaurant costs and turn of tables, but 45 minutes is for fast food, street food cafes, not Ginger.

Came here on a whim as we were in the area and how lucky we found this gem. Staff were incredibly friendly, food was well presented and absolutely delicious. Zero complaints from us! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Price per person: $80–90
