Bei meinen Besuchen dort, war das Essen immer sehr lecker. Leider wurde man durch indirekte Kommentare, Blicke und Gesten dazu anmimiert doch boitte ganz schnell nach dem Essen den Tisch zu räumen. Auch bei einer Vorbestellung für eine Gruppe, wo am Ende 2 Personen kurzfristig abgesagt hatten, wurde sich beschwert, dass man die verminderte Personenzahl nicht mitgeteilt habe, dann hätte man einen Tisch weniger angeste... Pizza should be today, but I had little desire to go to work myself and pizza service? We had not had such good experiences here a few weeks ago, but wanted to give the restaurant a second chance, where we had received so much positive feedback from all sides, so spontaneously without reservation it was possible. A parking space is immediately found, about 20.00 h almost every table is occupied in the restaurant, in Remscheid in the middle of the week it is quite unusual. The first impression today is much nicer, a middle-age waiter greets us very kindly and after a short check in the reservation book we will be assigned a table in the front guest room at the window, luck had, it is a coming and going, some guests wait a little later at the counter for a table to be released. The menus are served, the candle is lit and after a very pleasant waiting period we are asked for our wishes, the Lord very charming and accommodating, no comparison to the very limited friendly waiter with little facial mimic we were allowed to experience in June. A pizza with parma ham at €9.50 and a quarter of rose without designation of origin to €4 it should be for me, my accompaniment chooses a pizza Quatro Stagioni at €7.50 and a Erdinger 0.5 l to €3.20. Flott is here, our drinks come immediately and are perfectly temperature-controlled, my wine certainly no revelation but quite drinkable. The wine selection is unfortunately very limited here, one is looking for a Lugana or Gavi. Red and white wine was gifted from large bottles (2 l content?). Already come our pizzas, very well covered with plentiful parma ham, aromatic tomato slices, rocket and a neat portion of parmesan plank, sugo fruity, the covering spicy tasty, the pizza floor should have been a bit cheerful for my taste. My accompaniment is also satisfied, paprika, mushrooms, olives and cooking ham not distributed per quarter but crossover, with sufficient cheese between the individual ingredients. Finally, two espressi to very cheap €1.60, hot, strong and with plenty of crema, so espresso must be. We are tired and much more satisfied than our last visit. In my opinion, meat dishes are less recommended, at the time we had served all Rumpsteak in three different variations of €14,14,50, in nullkommanix, a neat portion, about 300 g of raw weight, but the steak is relatively watery, probably the animal has grown very quickly. Well, at the reasonable price I do not expect 1A goods, for me would be a little less in better quality but desirable. We chose as a supplement roast potatoes instead of pommes, the potatoes have completely missed their theme, they were not really roasted, see photo, as a vegetable supplement there were green beans. I remember pepper and garlic sauce as very thin. Typical Italian? No, it's a pity, rosemary salads and some Mediterranean vegetables. But apparently there is hardly any change here, no seasonal offers, the 3 day recommendations (spaghetti with Pesto, Pizza Parma, Saltimbocca otherwise you will find an Italian with sufficient regularity and in the area virtually without competition on any standard menu. Essen: here I would like to rate both visits, June 2*, now close 4*, so all well-meaned 3*. There is no greeting from the kitchen, on request pizza rolls with herbal butter can be ordered at 2, €. I don't know an Italian, where there is not a bit of bread with dip or olive oil as a nice gesture. On the other hand, beverage prices are very moderate here. I would rate the service today as good, a single waiter friendly and routined all guests, the head of the house is responsible for the drinks behind the vase. Our satisfaction is asked twice, espresso or dessert is not offered. The decor can only be described as very rustic, but in this case it is quite successful and cozy, with brick masonry, plentiful decoration, but all on the shelves, on the wall or ceiling is really old, on the tables yellow fabric tablecloths and white medium blankets, the rustic red white carded variant would also fit very well. In the meantime there is also a cultivation (winter garden, here you have kept it somewhat simpler, on the website you can visit a tour through the restaurant. On occasion we would certainly come back, but then only on a pizza or we will try the pasta dishes once.

Wir haben bereits mehrfach einen Abend mit Freunden im Il Camino verbracht und es jedes Mal krachen lassen von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert.Die Vorspeisenvariationen sind schon so lecker, dass man sich daran satt futtern kann ehe der Hauptgang kommt. Den will man sich aber auch nicht nehmen lassen. Ich hatte letztes Mal eine Pizza CAPRICCIOSA die sehr gut war, ordentlich belegt und nicht zu dick.Das Personal war nett, charmant und für ein Späßchen zu haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder
