As soon as you enter (I was the first guest at 12 p.m. you feel at home the friendliness of Ali Besikkaya, the invitingly clean restaurant and the appetizing counter. During the conversation, Ali told me his philosophy, explained to me the home baked bread, cuts it open and proudly (and rightly shows the “inner workings” of his kebab bread. These are always freshly toasted when ordered. We were already talking to each other when he asked me: “Would you like this or that sauce, would you like garlic, would you like it spicy?” Of course we also came up with my/our “snacking career” in ours ABC Grill time and when I told him that during this time (1971 1986 we built up great contacts with our Turkish friends and that we still get cards from Izmir, Ankara and Istanbul for Christmas yes, we were reminiscing... Dear Ali, it was great and I wish you all the best and that your business always runs as well as before!!!
