Alte Rebe - Remagen

Visiting the ‘Alte Rebe’ is a great experience in taste and service. It is something special you won’t find in many places. Because you find at the menu local dishes, cooked in a fabulous way while remaining it’s natural character. However, the dishes are lifted...up by some details that make it a real experience even though remaining classic dishes. And apart from traditional dishes such as braised beef cheeks or fish you are always offered additional seasonal dishes, such as asparagus from local farmers. For example: In May I had a special asparagus menu for Mother’s Day. And not only the soup in the beginning was pure in taste, but also the main dish was a great combination of asparagus with a light fish and a citrus-butter sauce. Another time we have been there, I had a fabulous curry that was delicious because it remained its original taste and the wide range of herbs, while it wasn’t too spicy. Even though, the chef adapts the meals according to your personal wishes. Comparing this restaurant to other local restaurants in Germany, the difference is that you have a team that loves food and presents it like this, while being accessible to everyone. Many locals usually wish to get what they know, having trouble trying deviations. But here you get a great combination of both: local great dishes with a spoon tip of something special. And that for me is art. I by myself, am a local who has seen several sites in Europe and the world, where I have visited numerous exquisite and basic restaurants. Most recently I have spent a couple of years in Munich which also offers an amazing cuisine. And the ‘Alte Rebe’ is definitely a great place to visit to get an idea of delicious local German cuisine! Even though it is not located at the Rhine, you have a great view at the authentic live from Remagen and the town hall. Furthermore, from that point of view you can get an idea of the life more than years ago, when Remagen was founded by the Romans. If you are interested, you can also visit I the museum that is close by. Or you have a look at the numerous art-galleries around and go with the artistic flow, enjoying your artistic meal So ‘Alte Rebe’ is highly recommend! Enjoy your dishes!

Direkt am Marktplatz der Römerstadt Remagen liegt dieses kleine, ansprechende Lokal. Tradition gepaart mit einigen modernen Akzenten sorgt dafür, dass sich hier jedermann wohlfühlen kann. Die Karte ist klein, lässt aber dennoch keine Wünsche offen. Das Essen ist hervorragend und der Service fachkundig und freundlich. Die gute Weinkarte rundet das Angebot ab. Hier merkt man, dass die Betreiber mit Leidenschaft und ganzem Herzen bei der Sache sind. Die Alte Rebe ist ein wahres Juwel mitten in Remagen und absolut zu empfehlen.

Das Restaurant liegt in der Altstadt von Remagen. Die Karte bietet eine "bunte Mischung" von Speisen. Eigentlich. Wäre für den sommerlichen Tag eher leichte Kost geboten... die angebotenen Speisen haben eher herbstlichen Charakter.Schade... dennoch war das Essen erfreulich gut. Es gibt allerdings Potential nach obenDer Service war freundlich und kompetent.

Im Gegensatz zu vor 2 Jahren Top.Die Bedienung ist super nett. Das Essen ist gut abgeschmeckt und die Portionen gut. Auch die Zusammenstellung der Karte ist gelungen.Eigentlich für jeden was dabei.Auch das Ambiente ist nett eingerichtet.Wir kommen gerne wieder hierher.Ein Gewinn für Remagen. Hieran können sich viele ein Beispiel nehmen.

Kleines Restaurant mit kleiner Karte, dafür feiner Service, feine Weine und Qualität! Absolut empfehlenswert, Sonderwünsche werden gerne erfüllt. Am besten vorher reservieren.
