I am rating this as a one for the service i received when ordering my food thru GrubHub i ordered a salad and a drink and i get an email saying my drink was cancelled , i reached out to Grubhub to find out why and was told because they did have that one so my question is why didn't someone from there contact me and offer me another choice from what they had instead of taking it upon themselves and removing my drink w... I see some of the reviews for the food and I wonder if it’s just what they ordered because we were all thoroughly impressed with what we ordered. I got the dip sampler which was great. It had zesty cheese, eggplant dip, tzatziki and hummus. The pita bread was perfectly toasted! It all tasted delightful. The lamb was fresh and obviously charcoal grilled. It did take the waitress quite a while to come over but she was very apologetic and great. We got cheesy bread with marinara sauce too. This marinara sauce tasted like it was fresh made and not the factory manufactured pizza sauce. I honestly did not expect this place to be good at all based on the demographics and set up. I am def coming back!!
I enjoy coming to Maria's, however management need to invest in additional wait staff. Poor Bartender is doing his best to serve everyone, but truthfully extremely inconvenient for those on lunch break! I recommend going elsewhere if you don't have over an hour to spend at lunch. The specials are first rate! Go on a Weds night and take advantage of the buttery steamed lobster with 2 sides or the generous lamb chop on Tues with 2 sides, including a beautiful Mediterranean salad with olive, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and feta. We enjoyed ours with a 1/2 price bottle of Chianti. There are many other great items on the regular menu. I had the myo salmon, done crispy on the outside, tender on the inside with a sweet and spicy Thai chili glaze. My meal was topped off with cinnamon topped homemade rice pudding.
