Whilst on our return overnight stop at the nearby Novotel hotel, Shearings Holidays booked our tour party into this quaint restaurant a short walk from the hote... read more Whilst on our return overnight stop at the nearby Novotel hotel, Shearings Holidays booked our tour party into this quaint restaurant a short walk from the hotel. We were served a set menu of a salad and toasted ham, cheese sandwich starter. Main course was chicken fricassee with rice and desert was an apple and cinnamon clafoutis. My wife a vegetarian was given a tasty non meat option. Our party of 41 persons were served speedily and staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. Our dinner at R Co was tasty and enjoyable.

The food was nice however with us not having am option it wasn't all to our taste. The portions were quite small but enough after a day travelling. Can't comment on prices as we didn't pay.

Was part of a group of 50 people staying in the Noveltel close by. The food wast hot, tasty and the service second to none. If you are in Reims and thinking of eating in the main thoroughfare with all its tacky shops and overpriced pasta, keep walking until to find this gem. Everyone said that this had been the best meal in France, and we'd had many having been on holiday as a group for two weeks. I have every intention of eating here again when I am next in Reims in April. Should say we had pulled duck in a very hot dish covered in mash potato and cheese. I should remember to talk about the dessert. It was made with strawberry creme and included those Reims sponge fingers and I was keen on a second helping.
