La Forge - Reignier-Ésery

That's the fifth time we protected this restaurant. Two times for birthday parties and the other time to enjoy a very nice meal in a very pleasant atmosphere with good service.

We passed this restaurant a few times on the way to Annemasse and decided to try it. Great idea! It is small (reservations are obligatory as they book very fast and charming. My duck breast (Magret de Canard was one of the best... I ate in France, and the crowd was more than I could eat! Both my dish and my wife were beautifully presented and very tasty. We all started with a duck, which was likely why I couldn't finish my dinner (no dessert, please, even if she saw very appetizing! . We liked the restaurant so much that we booked two more dinners at our stay here.

I have eaten this wonderful fish for many years of my life, and this was by far the best ever. The butter/lemon sauce was light and complemented the fish, potatoes and vegetables in a wonderful way. PERFECT meal! A nice little restaurant. The owner served... and cared for everyone with a wonderful smile and a friendly attitude. Have already made three more reservations to eat there again. Must keep you or you're not coming in.
