We had heard many great reviews about this café and decided to give it a try. The interior is cozy and the menu offers a wide variety of options. The food was delicious and made fresh. Although there was a bit of a wait, it was definitely worth it. We will definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning in the future. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Old Station Yard Cafe:
I met a friend for coffee at 10 o'clock - they had no bread to make toast. There were only two or three pastries in the display case, but they were wrapped in clingfilm, so they didn't seem freshly baked that day. We ended up sitting outside in the sun after all. The seats were wet and we had to wipe them off. Most people seemed to be there for breakfast. There were three employees, but they were not very welcoming,... View all feedback.

Delicious mushrooms on brown toast and top Americano for £3.80!? In London that's pretty amazing! Locally sourced food on offer eg East London sausages and bacon, eggs are free range, lovely looking home made cakes and a classic English homecooked hot lunch menu. Atmosphere v...friendly, local workmen, mum's group, singles with laptops basically everyone! Lots of local info leaflets and some fantastic artwork on the walls. If I had just moved into the area this would be my regular for sure!
Lovely visit! Thank you to the lovely attentive staff. Our breakfast was tasty and hot: the home-made hash brown and the superb hot buttery toast were highlights. Great for parking too.
Just had a lovely bacon sandwich and a top cup of tea and 10 unexpectedly restorative minutes in this simply lovely cafe, there are lots more interesting menu options on offer lovely looking roast veg etc, but I just fancied a little bit of...ciccio (if I've got the spelling right? Can't believe I've never found it before. It will become my new Christmas tradition, pick up a tree (lovely Lancaster's next door gave my nursery School a very nice deal on a growing tree) and steal a few minutes with lovely people! Thank you!
Very relaxed. Builder or banker place. Parking is OK if you are careful. Sausages superb. Not a silly new E17 place.
