What Mike C doesn't like about Francis Farm:
Overpriced, lousy food. Paid $200 for soda water, wasn't told that amounted to 2 cases of water 4 -12-packs of soda. I know you have to make money, but that is highway rip-off. When water ran out, they charged $50 for another case of water. Really after already spending $2200, you felt the need to gouge use for something that cost $3 at any supermarket? Grounds were a mess, bags of trash everywhere, empty beer kegs,... View all feedback.

Beautiful grounds, nice venue, clean bathrooms. Terrible service, terrible food and expensive for what they offer.
I don 't even know where to start! From the first time my now husband and I went to look at Francis Farm we fell in love! We were looking for a very casual, rustic, fun place to have our wedding. We have been to a ton of weddings and we really wanted somewhere unique; well we sure did find it!!! After looking at 10 other venues we decided that Francis Farm was the perfect venue! For those of you who haven 't been to Francis Farm you must go!!! They have public clam bakes throughout the year and a bunch of other events. Just to go walk around and see the grounds it would be worth it. It is such an unique place! There are 2 sides to the venue so there can be 2 weddings going on at once. At first this worried me but we did not even know another wedding was going on during ours until after the fact! They keep the 2 sides very separated. We met Odete, the event coordinator, on our initial tour and loved her almost as much as the venue! She was so friendly and helpful! We booked almost a year in advance and I am sure that I drove Odete absolutely crazy with my non-stop emails but she was never anything but nice to us! We took our parents on a tour, I took my matron of honor on a tour, we did our engagement photos there and we went to the Father 's Day clambake there so we were there a lot! On a couple of instances we had the chance to meet Ken, the owner. Another super friendly, accommodating person! Odete helped with just about everything from helping me decide what napkins went best with what chair covers to helping us pick our food choices. She even bustled my dress for me during the reception! My husband and I had an absurdly large bridal party (9 on each side) which was a lot for Odete, our JOP and our photographers to handle during both the rehearsal and while taking photos and Odete was efficient and stern in the nicest way possible. We got married on the Francis side of the venue. Our original plan was to get married behind the pavilion under a chuppah, our rain alternative plan was to get married under the pavilion. Well when we got to the rehearsal and it was raining and expected to rain the entire next day, Odete could tell that I was less than thrilled to get married under the pavilion so she came up with a new idea, to get married in the tractor museum. We both instantly loved the idea! I can honestly say that I am actually happy that it rained because getting married in the tractor museum was so perfect and unique and Odete made it look so beautiful!!! The food was delicious and everyone was stuffed! We did the clam bake and had the bbq chicken and pasta primavera as our alternative options. We have gotten so many compliments on the food! The servers were great, the bartenders were great, everything went great! We had the cocktail hour set up on the pavilion it was perfect. There was corn hole, giant Jenga and a bonfire! I really cannot say enough good things about Francis Farm. So many of our wedding guests have already told us that they plan to go to one of the clam bakes next year. Odete is a truly genuine, caring person. She really wants for your day to be perfect and does everything in her power to do so!!! If you are looking for a uniquely amazing venue then definitely take a look at Francis Farm, you will not regret it!!!
Have gone to all but 1 summer concert series. The music has been great. However the food is subpar, tiny clam cakes and no clams in them. The clam chowder was tasteless and basically potatoes in clam broth. The line at the bar is very long. Typically they run out of draft beer early in the evening. Beer from the cooler is generally warm as well. The Owner/manager stood at the bar and chatted while 30 people stood waiting, instead of getting behind the bar and helping.

Grounds were a mess, bags of trash everywhere, empty beer kegs, Odette lied about the museums being opened for people to view, which was one of the reasons we chose FF. No one ever at office after 4 PM, went 3 times to make payments, finally had to do it over phone. Definitely not recommended, find a local hall, put a little work in yourself save a bundle.
