La Fable - REHOBOTH BEACH

Outstanding experience from the moment we arrived. We were celebrating our anniversary. The staff all signed a card which was on the table when we arrived. Service was professional and courteous. Food was excellent. A must-go for a special occasion.

We have celebrated a birthday here the last 4 years. It is our hi-light to our Rehoboth visit. The cream of crab soup was delicious! The trout was great as always and the Steak frites were wonderful. Great wait staff. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Everything would have to be perfect for me to give five stars and that is difficult for any restaurant to attain. I wish I could give this a 4.7. There are many positive things about this cozy restaurant. The service was amazing and this adds to the entire experience. We had the eggs and escargots to start. The escargots could use a little more garlic for me but it was wonderful to soak up the oil with the French bread perfectly crispy crust and soft bread). I loved the eggs. My husband had the scallops. I tasted them and they were excellent. I particularly liked the grilled cauliflower that came with it. My duck was perfectly cooked and delicious with excellent risotto. We had no room for dessert. He did not know we would have a Happy Anniversary card waiting for us and he thought this was a nice touch. I only had a glass of white wine but he sent his sour apple martini drink back to make it a little sweeter. Unusual drink, I know. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a special occasion since it is definitely pricey.

Must visit dining in Rehoboth... classic French food in a charming space

I had put off going to this restaurant for years because I think I have simple taste, and the menu scared me to be quite honest. I am so glad that I was talked him into going. This was a great experience. The people, the food, the atmosphere were all simply outstanding.
