While some diners have experienced inconsistencies in service and portion sizes, the authentic dishes like Lemon Chicken and Singapore stir-fried noodles shine bright. With remarkable care in packaging and friendly staff, patrons appreciate the value and flavor. The restaurant stands out for its attention to detail, cleaning standards, and delightful pastries, such as Portuguese egg tarts. Despite the occasional mixed reviews, many consider this spot a reliable choice for a satisfying meal in the neighborhood.
Affordable prices, tasty options, fresh baked goods. I like their congee and soups (velvet chicken corn soup is dope).
This bakery use water to pour several times on the coffee grounds after brew to make coffee even in front of customers. They didn't apologize but argued that was the way they made coffee to customers. Very bad service
I ordered from here a few times and they're pretty quick and my order is always correct. My only issue is the taste of the food. Sometimes food is good and other times I get a weird cardboard taste. Idk if it's the way they store food or a cleaning issue.
This time we got Lemon Chicken, which very few restaurants carry these days, and it was properly prepared. We also got a small portion of ribs, which were tougher than the last time. All-in-all, we were pleased.
I usually go to JC garden for my Chinese food in Rego Park but didn't know they are now closed on Sundays so decided to go this place and as you can see in the picture, the portion is very small. Yes I ordered a small but a small was never this small. Hasinflation really gotten that bad? Well JC Garden and other locations give larger portions for the same price! At least it tastedgood but did not fill me up enough ????
