Description

Tucked in a discreet London neighbourhood, this old‑fashioned caff delivers an unforgettable, wallet‑friendly full English — perfect eggs, sausages, hash browns and standout British back bacon — plus classic pies and custards. The dated, charming decor and bustling, working‑class crowd create a nostalgic, no‑nonsense atmosphere. Service is brisk and friendly, portions generous; expect long lines and loud order calls. Cash only. A must‑visit for authentic breakfast lovers.

Good English breakfast. Meat was good, especially the bacon. As I like it.

Delicious food, friendly service, and efficient staff made my experience here very enjoyable. The service was quick, the food was tasty, and the prices were affordable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to grab a quick bite along with a cup of tea!

I visited this place primarily because it was featured in the film "Sliced Cake," but I was pleasantly surprised to find they serve an incredibly affordable and authentic English breakfast. I highly recommend it as a must-try when in London!

When i say this was my favorite breakfast I have ever had in my life I mean it. The food was incredible! The eggs, sausage, and toast were perfect. The tomatoes were a great surprise!! Hashbrowns were cooked to perfection. The thing that really did it was the British back bacon! I dream of it still. I went march 2020 and i am still thinking about the place!

No trip to London can be ever considered complete if you fail to stop at Regency Cafe for a meal. After much googling for the perfect place where to experience an authentic English Breakfast (of which I am a big fan), I settled for this discrete place, located in a not very touristy area. The place was packed and there was a long line that did not scared me away. Looking around, me and my husband were the only foreign customers there. Yep, we 're in the right spot! One could find the decoration tacky and dated, like the place had stopped in time, but that 's what makes it so genuinely charming. Something in the likes of If it ain 't broke, don 't fix it ' . It 's almost hard to choose what to order because I want to taste everything, even if my mediterranean wuss stomach disagrees. And everything is so cheap! The food was exactly what I was expecting, greasy and potent, the bustling ambience, the politeness of the staff (and even other customers)... it 's just brilliant! They don 't take cards here, so don 't forget to bring money with you.. and a large appetite.
