A really special place. Lovely food, primarily of course fish seafood based but there are alternatives which can be interchanged within the menus. Personally I'd go for the 4 course menu rather than the 6 course. Very good wine choices and should you not be driving then the wine flight would be very tempting. Looking forward to being able to visit in 2023 View all feedback.

tonight we had two celebrations, my 50th birthday and a bon voyage to our very special friends who left porthleven. in front of the house was exceptional, followed by an extraordinary menu of local products, and wee from all over the world. Had the 6 curs vegan tasting menu with matched weinflug (bäck selection possible). amazing aromas and fresh seasonal ingredients. the hotel is located harbour side in beautiful porthleven november 2019, kota was named the restaurant of the year of cornwall life magazine. the chef jude kereama, who was awarded the best chef by trencherman’s guide 2019, is proud to be recognized by the good food guide, the michelin guide with a prestigious bib gourmand award, Harden’s restaurant guide, the Trencherman’s guide, square meal and the aa (with three rosettes).
They make an excellent vegan menu, including a six-course tasting menu. very nice service!
