Love Ooba Tooba! This is not an insane place with amazing Mexican dishes. I hadn't eaten there for years, and for some reason I started eating here recently and boy I can't believe I missed very good Mexican food all these years. They put the other Mexican restaurants in the area to shame. The Salsas are the best I had in a Mexican restaurant second only in the old town of San Diego. The veggie burrito is the best I... What ali vee doesn't like about Ooba Tooba:
This place had friendly staff but the food was pretty sub par. No flavor really, and the burrito we got was rubbery and soggy. We weren't really happy with our meal unfortunately. We got one of their specials of the day. Maybe it was just an off day but I also wasn't a fan of their salsa either and the cups to dip the chips in were super small. ? View all feedback.
The tacos were great ! And so were the salsas. We ordered the grilled chicken and the Baja fish tacos.
I absolutely love Ooba Tooba. I've been a regular here for a very long time. I always get the Chicken Rajas Quesadilla. The owner is a super nice guy and he must treat his employees great because I see the same people working for him year after year. I live in Capitol Hill, but since it's pretty close to Marymoor dog park, I've struck up a nice deal with my pooch. He gets a day at the park, and I get to hit Ooba Tooba on the way home!
For fast food the food is great. Yes, the menu is a bit slim but there are options covering most tastes, including vegetarian
I made a special stop to eat here from happy memories over 10 years ago when I lived in Washington. The potato quesadilla is the best I've ever had with a crispy toasted tortilla and slices of perfectly cooked potato, covered with crema and cheese. You can't miss with this place. Worth the trip!
An interesting take on Mexican food. Nice flavor combinations. Casual atmosphere
