Madaline's Grill Steak House - Redmond

I've been here several times. This is probably my least great experience going to this restaurant. Due to inflation they've had to now start charging a 3 and 1/2% fee on all tickets unless you pay cash. They do have a sign posted so you can choose to noteat there if you like. I ordered the fajita salad and it just was not good. The sauce that covers the vegetables and the meat isoverwhelming and it is just not something I would order again. I've eaten here many times and the food is always really good.This is most likely an outlier and a personal preference.

Update 4/2022. Still a great place for food and drink. Great steaks along with authentic Mexican food. I really liked Madeline's. Unique flair of classic Mexican dishes with some American steaks too. Atmosphere was simple and fun. Service wasgreat with knowledgeable staff. Drinks and food were above average. Full bar that can accommodate any taste. Prices were fairconsidering food quality. Off street parking available. I'll go here anytime I'm in Redmond with a need for good Mexican food.

Madelines is definitely one of the best restaurants in Redmond. The food and service are always top quality. It's always busy and packed, but they bring out chips and salsa immediately and keep on top of refills. Not for the COVID weary, that's for sure. A little pricey for standard offerings like burritos and fajitas but this is definitely offset by the portion size. The one miss was the house margarita. The tequila used was not great. Not enough to lose a star as I should have ordered the Cadillac, but was hoping it would be good.
