I would give the food a rating of 5 and the service a 5 as well. However, the atmosphere was lacking with a rating of 2. I highly recommend trying the cheeseburger, it was delicious!

The staff was friendly and attentive. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Stopped at Malanda Cafe for lunch today. Have been going there a few times. Ordered a wrap and crumb steak, chips and salad with gravy to eat in. Went to sit at... read more Stopped at Malanda Cafe for lunch today. Have been going there a few times. Ordered a wrap and crumb steak, chips and salad with gravy to eat in. Went to sit at the table and it was dirty and hadn't been wiped down as yet, so we brushed it off to sit. Everyone else had there meals served to there table and when ours was ready, the young girl that was waiting was singing out our order but waiting for us to get it. Then she be bought it down to us but my meal was packed in a takeaway container and not on a plate and no gravy. Our drinks were given to us in a small takeaway cups but we ordered a cupachino and iced coffee to eat in. When I asked about the gravy and then cutlery to eat with, but then we were offered for the meal to be put on a plate. My wife wasn't being rude but asking the question as why there was no meal on the plate but in a takeaway container. When the meal was bought back to the table, it had no cutlery and no gravy again. I asked the young girl if I can have some cutlery and gravy again and she started to get narkey with us and then she started screaming at us that if we're going to diss the chef and cause a scene, then we would have to leave. And she was screaming at us pretty loud to leave. So I asked for my money back and was refunded and other lady behind the counter was apologising for what had happened. We won't be talked to like that from a teenage girl who has no people skills and we definitely won't be returning. I don't even want to rate yous as definitely didn't deserve today's treatment.
