It has the basics so if you run out of milk, bread etc it's convenient.The staff are friendly and the store is clean.The downside is that it smells strongly of Indian spices as they sell homemade Indian curries, it's not what you expect from a friendly grocery store. View all feedback.
The best Indian food I had in cairns! great service and freshly cooked delicious curry! the personal always greets customers with a smile whether they go to eat or go for a fast food business. I always come to this place and I never got disappointed. I especially recommend these lazy nights when they don't feel like cooking! thanks young and keep it up!
Discovered this hidden surprise after a recommendation. it's a bit like the secret that no one knows, but by christ they make a breaking curry! aromen are packed in intensive and with spicy in thick textured sauce. chunky samoosas are a very worthy...extra these youngs rock what they do, so give Punjabi night a ****! ches dragon
The curries are so delicious and tasty and the team works there is nice and friendly. Monday and Tuesday all curries are a little cheaper. they love the freshly made naanbrot, butter chicken and dahl. timing is also good. I order them by phone. meals are available within 15-20 minutes. great choice for departure in the suburbs.
The service is great for which the curry is to die. great small local food business that also ensures the hunger.
After being disappointed at Indian Restaurant Reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to try this one, and were glad that we did. Located within a grocery /General store it is certainly different wit seating for only 6 patrons and more seats outside. I assume that they...specialise in the take-away trade.. We opted to dine in. Ordered Butter Chicken, Chicken Masala, Rice, Raita and a couple of Samosas. The Curries were both excellent as was the rice. The Raita had good taste but was a little thin. The Samosas were find. We will return next time we visit Cairns. NB They also make Pizzas and pies.
