After a frustrating Sunday morning we call here for coffee and cake. the haven is located in a large shopping complex, so there is a simple access and many parking spaces. we quickly choose a piece of delicious hummingbird cake served with cream, my...woman ice cream is carefully prepared as my cappuccino with lots of foam. the girls are really friendly, and our visit is a great plus for the day! What User doesn't like about Coffee Haven:
poor service, associated with even worse food. I was not allowed a vegetarian option for the eier benedict, I had to pay 3 dollar extra for 3 thin discs of unseasonal and unripe avo. I didn't stop talking this place. View all feedback.
Walking up to the haven, I thought..ok this will be cute. It probably won't pack a Starbucks punch, but..I'm down to try it. I left thinking...if this place were in Arizona, I'd definitely be a regular! They'rebetter than Starbucks...they have REAL food! Nothing pre packaged here! I think they must have little elves back there making all of those delicious pastries and tasties! I ordered lemon cake, my group of friends ordered everything else...no one was dissatisfied! I'm a total fan!!!
A nice quiet place to get a coffee and a small snack without breaking the bank. The coffee is pretty standard, won't blow your mind but it was solid the two times I visited. I also had the rocky road and chips with secret sauce, both were what you expect, chocolatey and suspicious, but good. There is also the gelato shop next door, we didn't get complaints when we were sitting have our coffee with a gelato too. Minimum spend for credit card is $15, or they will charge a $1 fee. The babycino was impressive too :
The breakfast was disappointing and overpriced. The restaurant was unwilling to make simple changes, such as adding a banana to the pancakes. The view and coffee were nice.
I usually wouldn't trust a restaurant with "haven" in their name, but this place exceeded my expectations. Although we didn't try their coffee, the Greek salad and Tex burger we ordered for lunch were some of the best food we've had in Palm Cove. And the prices were much better than expected!
The Salt and Pepper squid was incredibly fresh and flavorful, as were the Pulled Pork wrap and BLAT sandwich. We will certainly be returning to try out their breakfast menu and see if it is just as delicious.
