Gum Sing Restaurant - REDLAND BAY

The decor is old fashioned, Friendly staff, food excellent, great variety, been once very impressed and going back again. The cook is Chinese and he nails the flavors perfectly.

Awesome food We went to go for dinner on Wednesday night at 7 but they were closing. Saturday night we got a takeaway and 4 of us loved it They also do a Smorgasbord for $18.00 I would say the only downside is it is Fully Licensed and from outside never looks open Maybe some new lights and signage.

I think the decor is straight out of the 60's along with the background music...we loved it. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. We had the smorgasbord with plenty of variety and topped up regularly. We will be back for sure.

My parents used to take me here as a kid for takeaway. I have returned to this ‘land that time forget’ in my 40s and it has not changed one bit. Timeless. Utterly timeless. Or... Like walking back in time. The food was spectacularly familiar and the service was like an episode of Faulty Towers with teenagers. I was so utterly excited at how perfectly old school it all was. In short, I was as excited as the 10-year-old version of myself getting a prawn cutlet once a year. This pace is special. Very special! Five stars or bust!!!

I have been going to Gum Sing since I can't remember. It is my local cafe and almost always take friends and family there when they are visiting. It has a smorgasbord and fixed menu. The food quality has NOT changed in all the times I have been there, and their prices are excellent. It is worth a visit. :
