Food was average as any hipster place, I think we just went on a bad day when they were running out of supplies but they negotiated with us which was good! Only thing that made me uncomfortable was the chairs outside, it's metal striped and it really hurt my bottom (maybe add some cushions to it?) and that our glass cups with water had a funny smell to it. Overall, it is definitely a nice outdoor setting for catching up, for the kids, and I think for small dogs as there was a small water bowl next to me.

This is the latest entry in the proliferation of nice cafes in the Chippendale/Redfern/Darlington area, and with the amount of competition, opening up yet another cafe seems a brave move. But this place sticks out.The menu is imaginative even against the already high bar established in the last few years. Everything is very healthy, low on fat and high on choice ingredients. Presentation is beautiful, see the photo. Even better was the "Polly Jean" dish, but I forgot to take a picture of it. The portions are relatively small, which may leave the youngsters dissatisfied, but in my age the main challenge is to check the sideways growth, so this is fine. I'd rather not pay for food to leave it on the table (or eat beyond what I need). The menu seems to change about every two months, which itself is refreshing.On top of that, it's an extremely pleasant outdoor seating (partially covered), tables spaced generously (I suspect they'll move them denser during rain to get more protected seating).We went there a second time three days after the first, that already says a lot...
