The service may not be exceptional, as the barista often has to double up as floor staff. However, the cozy and dog-friendly atmosphere, along with the delicious lunch specials, make it a great spot for locals. Customers have raved about the corn and pea fritters and beef burger. The menu is extensive and offers drool-worthy options, with huge servings like the Sweet Potato Hash. The Turmeric Latte and Matcha Chai Latte come highly recommended for a unique and tasty experience. I love this place, my long black wasn't burnt, and made according to my specifications, the cakes were freshly made and the staff lovely.. will definitely come back
A rustic couple run cafe in hipster redfern, it is quite popular with locals n regulars as attested by the crowd on weekends. This was a weekday visit. <br/ <br/ Omelette w spinach mushroom 3.75/5, generous filling, perfect fold, firm on the outside, creamy on inside. Always encouraging to see trad brekky items done well. The double macc was on point, none of the acidic bs. Shame it didnt come scalding hot as requested. Is all about making sure the vessel is hot to begin with. Service nothing exceptional as the barista had to double up as floor staff. <br/ <br/ I didnt get to try the baked goods which they apparently specialize in with the boss lady’s own recipes.
The cute little, dog friendly eatery serves home cooked style dishes with a smile. Reg's special is the tip and is nicely topped off with one of her home baked treats. Do yourself a favour get down here a fill your belly.
