The delicious meal was complemented by some of the best service I've ever experienced. Our waitress, Nichole, was wonderful—she showed up at just the right times without being overbearing. Amanda also stopped by frequently to ensure we had everything we needed. While the food isn't the cheapest, the prices are quite reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes.

Honestly, it was the best salad we've ever tasted! Next, we enjoyed the bread along with the house-made soup. The soup of the day was minestrone, and even though it's not usually my favorite, it was absolutely delicious tonight! The bread, dip, and soup complemented each other perfectly. For our main course, we ordered the chicken marsala, which came with an exquisite sauce drizzled over mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and perfectly cooked Brussels sprouts, broccoli, and carrots. To accompany the meal, we chose a perfectly chilled bottle of pinot grigio. We were so full that we couldn’t finish everything, but the meal was so amazing that we couldn't resist ordering a lemon cheesecake to take home! If you ever find yourself in Redding, California, make sure to take the opportunity to dine at its finest at Karlines!
