This morning, four of us went out for breakfast. The food was delicious, served in generous portions and reasonably priced. However, our experience was marred by the uncomfortable cold air conditioning. We couldn't wait to step back outside into the warmth of the sun. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Point Cafe Bar Restaurant:
We visited Breakfast Point for a reservation for four at 9 o'clock. Despite arriving early and being greeted by friendly staff, our experience quickly went downhill. It took 45 minutes for my cold coffee to arrive, and an hour for our breakfast order to be served. The menu seems to have changed since we were here last. bbq ripening were beautiful, but serving was twice as big as it must be. no warning that promotes the point, acute obesity or excessive waste. probably not be back.
Went for a quiet drink and they had a great singer to entertain us
Service, average to poorDrinks, hot chocolate tasted like dirty dish washing waterFood, average breakfast no condiments had to pay for sauce.Based on my experience this is one of the worst restaurants in Redcliffe, if that's the quality of Thier breakfast menu I won't even bother with Thier dinner menu. The duty manager wouldn't even come out he hid down the back. Would not and won't recommend this eatery
As a group we regularly eat breakfast here on a Saturday morning but they've recently changed their menu and increased their prices (which is fine). However I ordered poached eggs and wanted a side of avocado and was told I cant have avocado as a side. I said I will pay for it and the server advised me the chef has said no more sides of avocado to be given. That's fine, we will start going to Cafe 63 which is next door and has a menu with much more variety.
We eat here often and have enjoyed good food and service. Of late there is something lacking. Dog friendly area has been changed reduced. The wine glasses have been replaced with the smaller cheap and cheerful version. Small gripes but does make a different to frequent diners.
