After a long drive we did not feel like scouting around the local restaurants on the Esplanade so when we saw Sizzlers it was an easy decision to eat there. You know you will have good value for money and a wide variety of food to choose from. We found everything to be fresh and tasty and we were happy to pay around $40 for a large size T-Bone steak which was so tasty and tender plus the all you can eat salad and dessert bar. We also received good customer service from the young waitstaff team. A pleasant, stress free evening and we would return if down that way again.

Steak either under cooked or over asking everyone at the table. The salad was far from exciting, the old potato skins were so salty when eating them my heart went up 20 beats a minute . The smarties from the ice cream area tasted fatty. In the 90 minutes we were there at time did a staff member return to the table to remove plates etc overall service POOR in fact it appeared they were well under staffed . I would bypass sizzles in the future .
Food was nice once it arrived; took 60-90 minutes for orders to come out which was ridiculous for a Saturday evening in a half empty restaurant. The serving sizes were small for the price and $38 for eye fillet and $10 for a bourbon is a bit rich. Salad bar range was excellent and the quality was good. One of the older waiters was very rude and abrupt but the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful. Really poor display of gluten free options and the allergen sheets are a joke compared to what is out there at other restaurants with similar menus.
Wife and i visited after an absence of over 5 years and found not a lot has changed. We had dinner, potato skins being one of the old favourites at Sizzler......disappointment, most of the night the skins were depleted and it took forever to refill, including the burritos, prime time and people waiting around because the food coming from the kitchen was extremely slow at best. They even ran out of dinner and dessert plates twice, just terrible for a restaurant of this calibre, no excuse really. The processing of of people through on entry was also extremely slow, i am unsure whether this is the new standard at Sizzler, if not, then the management needs to fix asap.
Great night out & a walk down memory lane. No Sizzler restaurants in NSW. Food very fresh, staff polite & clearing dishes quickly. Manager friendly & mingling with diners. Great to see. We will be back!!!
