This is my favorite restaurant and I go back every time I'm in Southern California. unfortunately I had the same server in order for the second time and she was... read more This is my favorite restaurant and I go back every time I'm in Southern California. unfortunately I had the same server in order for the second time and she was terrible. this is my first negative review about a server, ever. it has never stopped seeing if we still needed something, more drinks, more eating or something. they never imagined as our server after we were helped by someone else to our table. If we hadn't stopped them, we would never have known who our waiter should pick up our order. the restaurant was not very busy, there were many open tables. I'm not coming back in town next time.

And if they ever have their pastrami tacos on the menu, be sure not to miss them! The service is also impressively quick once you're seated.

Unfortunately, I had the same server for the second consecutive time, and she was disappointing. This is actually my first negative review about a server. She never checked in on us to see if we needed anything—be it more drinks, additional food, or anything else. Moreover, she didn't introduce herself after we were seated by someone else, so if we hadn't asked her, we would have had no idea who our server was to place our order. The restaurant wasn't very busy, with many open tables available. Because of this experience, I won't be returning next time I'm in town.

The service to serve us to order was so slow and the place wasn 't super busy, staff saw us and pretty much ignored us apart from a young girl walking by not looking at us and said just a minute then nothing happened, a young man eventually pressed the bell for us and eventually someone came to take our order. Takeaway order didn 't take long to come but sitting by the window with a heap of dead and dying flies wasn 't nice. Maybe wipe them away as they build up on the table?! The tiny side of chips with a burger being $3.50 was way too much, they were the worst chips we 've had in ages and the herbs sprinkled on don 't taste at all. The chicken burger wasn 't bad, the calamari share serve was tasty but very small for $15 and the wilty rocket taking up space in the box was a waste. Sadly we won 't be back and don 't recommend for takeaway calamari and burger.

The food was exceptional, earning a solid five stars. The service was equally impressive, with prompt and friendly staff. The atmosphere of the restaurant, even in a takeout setting, radiated warmth and charm. I highly recommend trying their fantastic pizza—it truly stands out!
