Turned up on time with a home made cake and was rudely told we were not allowed to eat it o... read more I booked a table for 7:30pm for my vegetarian sisters 17th birthday. Turned up on time with a home made cake and was rudely told we were not allowed to eat it or light the candles because there was egg in the cake mix... OK we accepted that on the grounds that it is a ‘vegan’ restaurant and we respect the ‘ethics’ of the restaurant. Then we stood for 10 minutes watching a member of staff slowly clean the table that we had BOOKED for 7:30. At 7:45 I looked around the EMPTY restaurant and decided enough was enough. No welcoming, no apology and quite frankly terrible vibes in the whole place. No music, no atmosphere and Worst service ever. No wonder it was empty. I will never return.

Yes, they are sometimes slow in bringing in things, but it gets pretty hectic and full. Also, there were not any sour or lazy faces behind the counter. I think sometimes those who are working are tired, just like any human being... Anyhow, I think the place should be judged not on those things, but having a good flavor and food profile. I missed this place when I was in Ilford the first time, but this time we stepped in a explored this place. We wanted to try something new and different and when we stepped into Mr. Singh's place and saw the menu we were like wow. It was a blast for me. I ordered the spicy burger with the curly fries., wow just wow. The food is delicious and we shared a calzon. I highly recommend both and the fries as well. I had a blast. The soda is on the expensive side, that is why I just drank water. I was not going to pay 2.50 pound for soda, with unlimited refills. Our first experience was a great one with Mr. Singh and we decided to eat our lunch everyday there trying out different things. Also, vegetarian pizza is good as well for the price. Enjoy and if sometimes the customer service is slow, don't take it to the heart! Eat a great lunch or dinner there : For those vegetarians trying to find a good burger, this is the place. Enjoy!

The menu was... read more I visited this restaurant with my mother and husband on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated at a table by the window and received prompt service. The menu was brought over right away, and our food arrived quickly after ordering at the counter. We tried a small spicy paneer, a small chunky paneer, and a medium coriander pizza. The toppings were delicious and spread all the way to the edge of the pizza, but the spicy paneer could have been spicier. The bottomless drinks option was perfect for the warm day. The restaurant started to fill up as we dined, with tables filling up and people arriving for takeout and delivery orders. We hope to return to try more items on the menu as the food looked appetizing. One star was deducted for a sticky table and the lack of personalized service, as no one checked if we had dined there before or needed any recommendations. This issue could easily be addressed and would make the overall experience excellent.
