We were here after a family funeral. It was a perfect venue, comfortable and friendly staff
I went to The Cricketers for lunch today with my 90-year-old mother for my birthday. We both ordered the hunter's chicken. Unfortunately, mine was not edible as it was overcooked and tough to cut. My mother's meal was not great either. The food was served on cold plates, so I called over the server to let them know. They took my meal back to the kitchen and offered me a free drink, which I declined as I was driving. I was not offered an alternative meal. When I went to pay the bill, I was charged the full amount despite not being able to eat my meal. My mother was upset by this as well. Overall, our lunch was a disaster and I was shocked by the lack of solution to the problem.
This restaurant is a great option for a pit stop on the way out of central London.
Another wonderful night up the best proper pub. Tonight the lovely Eve presided over the quiz and Phil and Joe served the drinks in their normal friendly style. Might even go back there
