We had a great lunch at this restaurant....it was very good. The fish and chips arrived quickly and hot. We had the table in the front window and could watch all that was going on while eating and bring warm snd dry out of the rain.
The nearest halal restaurant i could find near the london eye...the food was very good and affordable...the staff was friendly and the service was fast...
After visiting the iconic London Eye, we were hungrily looking for food fit for consumption of muslims when we chanced upon this sunny looking Chili Chutney. Its manager gave us the rundown on what 's available, and insisted i try its lamb briyani. not bad for an Indian restaurant in a Western country: the piping hot chicken soup was a perfect companion to the nan bread; when dipped and savored, we forgot the cold and rainy weather outside. briyani and nan plus yoghurt drink and hot tea completed a repast that we hummed 'yummy ' as we thanked the gregarious pakistani manager, and promised to return.
I have never dined in at this restaurant, but I have ordered takeout three times now. The food is delivered quickly and the service is polite. All of the dishes are vegetarian and well prepared, though they can be quite spicy at times. The menu changes frequently, so a favorite dish may not always be available. Despite some issues with the gram flour dumplings being too hard, everything else we have tried has been delicious. We plan to continue using this takeout service in the future.
We met at this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday. The buffet priced at £8.95 per person was a good deal. One of us opted for a Thali for a few extra pounds, but it consisted of the same dishes in smaller portions (so not much of an upgrade). The service was attentive and the food was freshly cooked and delicious. There was a good variety of dishes and we made several trips for refills. The only downside was the lack of customers, resulting in a lack of atmosphere. Despite this, it is a nice restaurant and worth a visit if you are in the area.
