For only £5.95, you get the burger with one side and a drink, making it not only delicious but also one of the most affordable options among gourmet burger places in East London. I will definitely return to try more items from their menu.

Nice combination of col... read more BBQ Express Ilford, is located a 4 minute walk from the Exchange Shopping Centre. Your are met at the door with the strong aroma of BBQ. Nice combination of colours for the decor. Seems to be a lot of staff standing around on phones. I had a vegetarian burger and fries. The burger fell apart, the fries had some cheap nasty tasting seasoning I believe peri peri seasoning). I wasn't impressed with the buns being toasted where the chicken is cooked or the use of the same tongs. The meal was £4.95 including drink.

As someone who works... read more I went to this restaurant alone to order some food, and I noticed that none of the staff behind the counter were wearing masks or shields. As someone who works in a restaurant myself, I informed the staff and owner before writing this review that UK legislation now requires all staff and customers to wear face masks. Despite my reminder, only one person put on their mask while the others continued working without theirs. Additionally, there was no 2-meter distance between tables. It is concerning that despite being informed about the new law, no one seemed to care. I hope they reconsider their approach.
