Ordered through doordash, got chicken Alfredo and ribs. Ribs were alright. The family size Alfredo barely covered the bottom of the shallow pan, had absolutely no seasoning at all, just noodles and some plain shredded chicken. It reminded me of elementaryschool chicken pasta. It also came with four floppy bread patties they said was garlic bread. Not sure if it was the resturantor the door dash driver but since they wrapped everything in tin foil instead of it being in containers, someone poked a hole inthe noodles anyway so it leaked all over the bag it was delivered in. Tasted extremely bland and cost $50, complete waste of mymoney. Bummed out because I really wanted the good food.

Brittany was our server, and she was absolutely fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and drink specials, and she was quick and efficient. The smell of rotisserie-cooked meat as we walked in was mouthwatering. The food presentation was excellent, and everything was delicious! I highly recommend this place!

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Red Wing! I've been there about a dozen times and have always had a great experience. Even when my order was a bit incorrect, the way the staff handled it made all the difference. I highly recommend trying this place!

I had never dined here before and was in a hurry. I ordered a pound of beef brisket and a pound of pulled pork, and they had my order ready in under 10 minutes, which was perfect. I've tasted barbecue from some of the best places across the country, so I know what good barbecue is. It's notoriously difficult to find authentic barbecue in the Upper Midwest that isn't dried out or overly seasoned, but I was genuinely impressed by both the pork and brisket from this place. The smokiness was just right, the meat was juicy and hot, and while I didn’t weigh it, it was clear that both portions were easily a pound each. I'm not usually a fan of barbecue sauce; I prefer to enjoy the natural flavors of the meat, which this did wonderfully. However, I did try their spicy BBQ sauce, and it was delicious, complementing the meats perfectly. This isn't just good by Midwest standards; it truly competes with some of the best barbecue joints in Memphis, Texas, North Carolina, and beyond.

The ribeye steak was excellent in flavor, but the green beans didn't impress. The staff were friendly, and the beer was served cold. However, I did notice a few hidden fees when it came time to pay. Also, it was a bit strange that no salad was included with the steak. Overall, my experience at Smokin' Oak had its ups and downs.
