Cubano was excellent, and the fries along with the cheeky sauce were delicious, but what truly stood out was the outstanding personal service provided by Steph the bartender! View all feedback.
What Julie O doesn't like about Red Lodge Ales:
We were looking forward to indulging in some delicious food and craft beers at this place. The sign at the entrance encouraged us to seat ourselves, so we chose a table outside. We noticed several... View all feedback.
This place has potential to be really cool, but the Disney soundtrack was not great.
We waited over an hour for our food, and only when we mentioned that we were leaving did they inform us that it would still take another five minutes. This totally spoiled our Labor Day holiday and made us over an hour late for our event.
Folks with allergies beware!! Lovely little spot but extremely uninformed servers and kitchen about allergies. I told the server I had a gluten allergy (celiac disease) and asked some questions about things on the menu. He acted offended that I would ask, saying, it should be gluten free, I don 't know why it wouldn 't be... and when I asked him to verify with the kitchen he ignored me. We ordered spinach and artichoke dip with only veggies and the veggies came out with crumbs of bread on them (likely from someone not changing gloves). Then after eating some of my pulled pork I went in to ask someone else if the BBQ sauce was GF. Only once someone else overheard me asking did the server come out and say oops, I 'm sorry the pork is made with beer. We paid our check but I wished we just walked out. Needless to say, I 'm very angry at how irresponsible this team was even after me trying to speak up for myself.
Overall good beers but the food was just okay to me. Service was slow, but guessing it was more of a short staff situation. My favorite were the brown ale and the pear cider!
I wasn't able to visit the restaurant myself, but I noticed some comments on Google claiming that they are dog-friendly on the patio. However, I want to point out that there is a clear permanent sign stating that no animals are allowed on the patio or inside. So, it might not be worth your time. I saw this on June 1, 2024. Cheers!
