Polperro - Red Hill

What a great place! We dropped in on Saturday afternoon and felt so welcome. The staff was great! They put on a nice fire for us, provided us with blankets and even charged my phone for me ! The food and wine tasted amazing and we had such a beautiful view. They even have a little dog that comes for a pat : our waiter JeanPierre was super friendly and gave us some great wine tips! I highly recommend this place to everyone

Enjoyed a superb afternoon at Polperro yesterday with friends it was the husbands birthdays on 22/2 and already gagging to go back! We started our experience with the guided tasting in the moody back room (very informed friendly guy! and were then shown to our table in the main room. Ordered almost every plate on the menu and all of them were outstanding, though special mention to the duck pâté appetiser, fish tacos and lamb shoulder... heavenly! The wine? Polished off a few bottles of that too chardy and Syrah the standouts for us all finished off with a coffee martini outside on the deck. Oh, and the service was A1. Couldn't have picked a better spot for a wonderful afternoon with friends!

What an incredible experience... This is an absolutely beautiful piece of paradise. The restaurant is nestled around the generous shade of a line of gorgeous ghost gums, overlooking the stunning view of the vineyard. The food was sensational; a daring mix of Australian flavours with lots of flare but, above all, just down right delicious. The staff made the experience all the more wonderful, not only delivering great service, but fabulous recommendations and friendly cheer.

Such a stunning view loved sipping wine under the gum trees. Great cellar door experience and friendly staff. Will be back again!

Had a very good time on Sunday having lunch with my partner. As always the staff were amazing! Love the place, the food and the wine. We’ll definitely be seeing you again soon!!
