The old-fashioned dining room, which offers a beautiful garden view on both sides of the room. Although the room was full, the noise level was wonderfully low. What a pleasure! No knocking music or screaming over the table. I had forgotten that it could be like that. Now for the food. My entree of Sashimi-Kingfish was delicious and full of taste. The main course of Barramundi was delicious, but not so amazing as the... View all feedback.
What Laury Altenwerth doesn't like about Linden Tree at Lindenderry:
The food was modern and big, although the restaurant is not lacking atmosphere and needs a modern survey. A waitress was lovely and the other was clearly new and was not sure what to do. For the price of food I would like to have seen a much better ambience and experience in the staff. Overall, we enjoyed our night. View all feedback.
Stop for pizza and wine on the cellar door. Pizza's were okay without seriously testing culinary altitudes. We tasted several wines and chose the rose with the pizzas. That was a pretty pleasant wine. My highlight / lowlight of the visit was the questioning price for the champagne on the cellar door. 72 dollars for a look sparkling faith. It gives the immediate holding of a judicial investigation in full.
We went to Lindenbaum in the Lindenderry for the last night of our mini break. I booked the table by Zomato (the first time when I had done it) and the reservation everything went smoothly. We got a warm welcome from Steven, who sat us, and explained the 2-course, 3 course or 5 degrees with optional wine-matching choices offered. On the back of a late lunch we went for the 2 course option and added a cheese plate to finish the meal. The dishes finished in a beautiful pace, allowing time between the courses, but not wonder if they would forget that the kitchen knows that we were on the next course. Every dish was cooked to perfection. This is really a wonderful food experience. A full 5 points would have been my score when the entire front of the house team was so attentive and how Steven was present.
The third stop as part of our wine tour on Sunday was the Lindenderery winery. While the winery was beautiful and had great views, the wine tasting experience was not fulfilled, tries the smallest favorite wines tasted. Grief The cellar door made some really beautiful wood stove pizzas, salads and cheese plates available. The service was slower than usual, the staff was not so attentive as expected. Grief Great place to stay overnight. Mg.
The place is beautiful with a very real character and good old-fashioned service. The place itself is something dated, but the simplicity and the boutique service makes it good again. The view of the window to the vineyard is breathtaking.
Visit Lindenderry Winery on Sunday for lunch. I had the old cereal and mushroom risotto, and my friend had the barramundi. Both were very nice, but probably a bit expensive compared to similar restaurants. The fish was 47 dollars! We also had the chocolate dessert, it was Celish! The ice zone was really good, and I usually do not tend to ice cream! A beautiful winery, which is also worth stopping on the cellar door.
