Went there with my wife to see Charlie Jacobson perform and arrived about 10:15 pm on a Thursday night. Asked if we could get a couple orders of wings and the waitress nicely explained that their kitchen was closed at 10 pm on Thursdays. She said 'the cook is just cleaning up, let me go ask him'. She showed up 10 minutes later with two plates of awesome hot wings. Thanks so much for the extra effort! View all feedback.

I never write reviews, but it was so AWFUL that i am making an exception. The ribs were over-done and crispy. The burger was less than average and the stuffed potato probably came out of a freezer and was warmed up. Very unimaginative and bland. The cole slaw had seen better days and the "house dressing" tasted like mayo and vinegar. SMH. Felt like a total waste of calories. The waitress was friendly but the kitchen... View all feedback.
Had the eggs benny with spinach and goat cheese on a bannock biscuit. The hollandaise sauce was amazing!! Great service too!
I was here Friday, August 4th, 2017 with my husband, daughter and her boyfriend. We had 3 appetizers, bacon wrapped scallops, bannock, and fried pickles, all were very tasty! Our meals were fish and chips, salmon, and both men had the chicken oscar. All of us were very happy with our dinner.I was leery of eating dinner here after reading the really bad review by IB H, but after reading that persons other review of another place I figured they just like to complain about anything and everything. I am so glad we went there and I know The Krossing will be one of our favorite places to go!ALL of the staff were awesome and friendly and completely on top of our needs. I was able to meet the owner, Leah, and she bought me her signature shooter, very nice of her! When you go to The Krossing, you NEED to have the "Leah van Gogh" shooter!!! It was so good I had to order a round for our table and all enjoyed :) We all enjoyed the entertainment as well, which was a Motley Crue tribute band and even though my daughter doesn't listen to Motley Crue, she even enjoyed it. Only thing we thought could be different was that the band was very, very loud. However, that's probably just a personal thing so I can't really knock it. If I were still 19 years old, rather than 49, I probably would think differently, ha ha.(Leah, you definitely have new regulars with us. Thanks for a great evening!!!Hugs, Tami-Jo P)
Booked a table for 15 to have a family supper to celebrate my sons grad. Service was exceptional! Very attentive, loved the atmosphere and that kids were also allowed! We tried several appetizers that were great! Supper was ok, food arrived to quickly to be just prepared. Dessert was great but not much choice . Will definitely be back for another visit this time with out the kids :)
I was on my way to Red Deer and called my sister and told her I was taking her for lunch, "Pick a place to eat". She told me that she saw a FaceBook post about a new restaurant, so let's go. She couldn't remember the name but knew where it was located. We found a parking spot right out front and went in. It was right at noon and only a few tables with people. I was surprised it wasn't more full (I found out later that it was only their second day they had been open)The menus was really interesting, lots of great sounding foods. Trendy kind of stuff, shrimp tacos, beef and lamb burgers and I don't remember what else, but lots of unique choices. I ordered the Gumbo something because my sister had the shrimp taco (Which was what I was going to have but I let her order first, grr) So we chatted while we waited for our food. and waited. and waited. Glad we weren't in a rush. Plus they have a giant video screen and stage right in front of us and were playing really cool music videos. Our food did show up and it was well presented and tasted excellent. The shrimp taco came with a bowl of soup (which my sister said was the best soup she had ever had, grr again) and my Gumbo was great. Spicy, tasty and very sticky. And too much to eat it all. As we were leaving we talked to the staff for a bit and found out that it was only their second day open and that they were still getting set up. I'm thinking that our orders were made from scratch while we waited and that's why it took so long. I asked for a business card so I had all the info to do a review and they said that they didn't have any yet, they didn't even have a takeout menu yet. OK, they really had just opened. Would I go back? In a minute! There are about 5 other things on the menu I still want to try.
