We go to the Phoenix pretty frequently. It gets very busy even during the week. Servers are always friendly but rushed. The food is always hot but sometimes we find they aren't quick to replace items in the buffet that run out. There is a good variety of food, it is not a massive buffet which we appreciate. My partner loves the dim sum.

It's easy to see why seniors flock to this place—it's definitely a plus that dim sum is included in the buffet. Surprisingly, I’d rate the dim sum as really good overall. The rest of the buffet was average, especially since we arrived near the end of lunch service. Another positive note is that the bathroom was clean and not freezing cold, making it family-friendly. The pricing for children up to age 9 is reasonable, but kids aged 10 are charged the adult rate. A sliding scale for pricing might be better for kids. Seniors get a discount, which is a nice touch. I would consider returning, especially if I visit at the start of the lunch buffet.
