Chedda' Heads - Grilled Cheese Truck

I love food trucks and the opening of Food Truck Thursday in Sylvan Lake was no exception!  The sun was shining, people were out walking around, and there were six trucks there.  I had eaten before at Chedda Heads last year in Edmonton and loved it.  Today the Rearview Mirror with cheddar, bacon, apple and maple syrup was just okay.  I will still give them another try and try another sandwich - probably next week at Food Truck Fridays in Red Deer!

I LOOOVE grilled cheese.... .....Chedda'Heads is sloppy grilled cheese.... Their website says different prices then their actual truck... Website is cheaper... It takes seconds to change it guys... Change your price online.They don't use gloves in their truck just bare hands.... Sweaty bare hands, because it's pretty warm outside I ate someone's sweat.... For me $10 for a grilled cheese is a decent amount of money, but if it's good SO WORTH IT... But for a CRAPPY Chedda'Heads grilled cheese it's a TON of money. HELLBENT$103 Cheeseblend, Doritos, avocado- Flavour was horrible, texture was great!! The avocado was old..... Gross.... REARVIEW MIRROR$10Cheddar, Granny Smith Apple, Bacon, Maple Syrup- Sounds like my dream and it actually is because I make them at home ALL the time... WRONG! The taste was AMAZING... As long as you don't actually want the bread, because the bread is EXTREMELY soggy..... When I saw Maple syrup I wasn't thinking let's change the integrity of the grilled cheese... But that's what it did. GROSS.... PLAIN GRILLED CHEESE$7Cheddar- Fake cheddar.... I'm pretty sure it's the Kraft singles packets of cheese.... Not bad though....for fake cheese and for my 2 year old to eat.DEEP FRIED PICKLES $5-AMAZING! Absolutely wonderful!TATER-BOMBS $5-AMAZING! The dip was a little weird but paired nicely with them! Customer service and appetizers were great which is why I rated it a 2 instead of a 1...

I was so very excited to try a sandwich from here. I could have stayed home and grilled up my own wonder bread for half the price. A little variety would have been nice and for specializing in grilled cheese more then one bread would be a good idea too.

I had a chance to eat at this food truck at the Tour of Alberta festival. I had the "Big Poppa". It was a grilled chedder, cream cheese and grilled jalapeno. It was great! Dont be afraid of this place, it was very good.

Happy friendly service, the best grilled cheese in the world and the best food truck in Red Deer! Family friendly and fast!
