Bourbon Grill - Red Deer

I'll start off by saying it was outstanding customer service started off with being greeted very professionally by the bartender he made us to outstanding

Well we regretfully gave this place another shot since changing from Brads Pit. Came in with a party on Friday and received the worst service ive ever had. Our server Taralee was not personable and really did not seem like she knew the menu or establishment at all. She couldn't answer some questions we had about the menu and didnt even offer to ask management or the cook she just said "i don't know" too make matters worse the police came in and she told us that apparently she was not legally aloud to serve us not even sure what that was about? After all of that she forced us out because it was time for her to go home. We clearly were not done drinking and not ready to pay our bills. The exact words out of her mouth were "If you keep drinking ill keep serving" I guess we weren't drinking fast enough for her liking??? But it was time for her to go home so I guess it was time for us to go aswell. We told her from the beginning that we wanted separate bills. It took her about 20 minuets to separate them for us she kept bringing them back to the table wrong. It was so bad that we eventually gave up and did not want to wait and paid them as they were. The music is terrible. One of our party asked to have it changed and was told by the bartender that you cannot change the music for atmospheric reasons. The atmosphere was gloomy and slow I was ready to have a nap by the time it was all said and done. Its to bad because the food was quite good, still don't think we will be back after that experience. Doesn't seem like much has changed since the name change.

Friendly awesome service, the ladies working were great, probably top 3 burgers I've had in my life. Buddy I'm with says it was the best Philly cheesesteak he's ever had

Can't say enough good things about this restaurant/lounge. Attended a birthday dinner, small group, and had an excellent evening. Great staff, very interesting menu - too many good choices - and wonderful music: not the top 40 drivel that others use. Everyone chose something different: rave reviews on the pasta dishes, the fried chicken and the bourbon mixed drinks. Big selection of draft on tap. Dessert is homemade to die for: pecan pie with vanilla/bourbon ice cream! peach cobbler! Will be back soon: so many more choices to make......yummmm
