we were back in porterhouse yesterday and were rewarded with great steaks (ochsenlende) for our decision. each chosen a suppe as an appetizer, I chose the brain soup, my wife the clear bark soup with pfeffer, both tasted very good. then followed the salad, very tasty. there is mandatory the twill with truffle butter. when the meat was served later, the water in the munde ran together. my wife chose the cervical apron... What Marie-Luise Krug doesn't like about Porterhouse Borste:
the staff seems to be overwhelmed, eternal waiting times in pieces getrānke.Partially on the menu described meat not there.after 1.30h then brought meat what was not ordered at all.Availing then tried to talk and wanted to turn it on to us.As hard not to take into consideration.Something cannot be accepted as a gast. I can't. View all feedback.
Four of us went knowing what to expect as eaten here before. Great steaks , nice atmosphere and lovely staff what more is there to say
The ambiente is o.k., even a little old-fashioned. what is not at all is the absolutely urgent service. even though we were there with 6 people and have served and ordered main dishes, we always felt that the service wanted to push us even more extras. our daughter, who eats like a fool, shouldn't get a child's plate because she was a little too old. only to go back immediately, you made a withdrawal. at each swallow, the service stood one at the back and wanted to pick up orders. The food was then as follows:Suppen very good. salate moderate. steak was covered with very strict, tasty crimson butter and totally overwürzted and not particularly delicate. one was like a shoe sole. the subsequently ordered cappuccino was hidden under a thick layer of kakao powder - an absolute no Go.We will not be seen there. for high prices you get better elsewhere.
I am traveling through my visit to many restaurants and prefer steak houses. I can not remember to have enjoyed such a qualitatiw high quality steak on the spot, besides an excellent self-made criminal and garlic butter. I have been offered many spicings, which I have never heard of elsewhere. I could not only choose between 2 sizes, but had numerous weights available. what should I say, a freshly tapped beer, nice services, all around top!I wish the porterhouse would be closer to my home, I would be a master guest!

Perfect. We were not 2 hours in the local before we drove home with a satisfied smile. if I would practice critique:The service is "old-school", but goes in order and fits the rustic ambiente.
The foods were very delicious and on the point. However, we waited for an hour for our eating while the services were busy with themselves. The restaurant was not too full, it cannot have been located.
