Village Tandoori Takeaway - Reading

So sorry the worst tandoori I ever eaten, cold tasteless, samosa wobbly bargi bought in, diving sauce was terrible. prawn madras a big slop, huh was so hard that it was added to the sauce, not boiled in it. never again, when we complained, they didn't want to. 34 down the drain.

Not impressed by eating from here would not recommend it. food was not delicious and tasted freshly prepared

Recommend this indian. I like all Indians around caversham, but this is my favorite chicken tikka and lamb tikka were great.

For over 25 years. very friendly and good food! they can also take their own bottle without cork.

My husband and I enjoyed a few drinks to celebrate our anniversary and were intending to go to a different restaurant, but it was raining and cold and we haven't been in the Village tandoori for years. So we popped in there and they had...a table available. The gentleman was very nice took our order and served us our drinks. The poppadoms came out they were fresh/crispy and the sauces were very tasty. We then didn't have to wait to long for our mains ! They were so tasty, portion sizes were just right and the bread just melted in your mouth ! After we had finished we then had to go back into the rain but we were warmer and well fed for our journey home ! A lovely unexpected meal Thank you Village Tandoori!
