Ordered some jerk chicken with rice and peas as take away. this was really nice. will definitely go again.
We were looking forward to a nice Caribbean meal The advert looked lovely Fish or chicken breast browned to perfection. Place was empty but still a long wait 50/55 mins for food. We were brought one triangle of chicken and one drum stick though I see the picture on reviews actually had 3 pieces. Would have loved the skin to be crispy breadcrumbs but sadly not the case. Very little chicken on bone : not for me sorry.
I had a great experience at Vibes. The food was delicious and I appreciated the menu's layout. There were a lot of options and you could customize your meal as desired. The drinks were also enjoyable. The staff was really friendly.
I throughly enjoyed my evening at Vibes with a large group of friends. The food and drinks were delicious. I highly recommend a visit and will definitely return.
We booked our table at vibes as a group booking for 8:30, although we didn’t arrive till 8:40. It took over an hour to receive our drinks and an hour and half for our food to arrive. We were eating at 10 pm. The food was okay, the service although not impolite was poor. You have to place your orders at the bar I guess offering a self service similar to Nando’s) but arguably a Nando’s experience is still better. The ambiance of the restaurant was poor. It felt as if we were sat at a back office. No wall decorations to make it feel as if we were in a restaurant there is a huge disconnect. It felt like a space with table and chairs no restaurant atmosphere. I really want the restaurant to do well as we are limited with choice with West Indian food and businesses. Unfortunately i can not recommend vibes, the owners need to stop and evaluate how to run the restaurant successfully if they want to stay open.
