what a nice pub! very friendly and welcome from the personal. a wonderful choice on the menu. I had the sink, egg and chips, the sink was really nice and there was so much of it! great price-performance ratio, very generous portion sizes and overall a very pleasant afternoon. will be sure to visit again. Wife and I Visited the Butt on 1 st Jan 23 , it was very quiet, we had a chicken Sunday lunch , however the meal was delivered without any bread sauce or stuffing which was mentioned as part of the roast , I asked the waitress why was it missing and she went to find the chef who had gone missing , however he said they had ran out of both bread sauce and stuffing which reduced the plate size and enjoyment. Went to the this pub for Sunday Lunch for the first time in a long time, the food was lovely, service was very good and the crushed meringue dessert was fantasticsorry can't put name of pub as yell.com said people might find it offensive lol
