DELICIOUS Deliveroo order. I had the chorizo hash and a hash brown. Hands down the best order I’ve had via Deliveroo. A hidden gem. Food is fresh, hot, plentiful portions, tastes and presented like it’s made with love. Well worth the price it’s great value for money; when you see and receive and taste the food you get it. Will be ordering again and visiting soon. View all feedback.
What Nadia M doesn't like about Richfields Cafe:
This afternoon, I went to the restaurant with a friend. There were no available tables, so we were asked to come back when it was "quieter" (even though it wasn't clear how we were supposed to gauge that). We returned in 20 minutes, only to be told that tables were only available outside (despite the fact that a few tables inside had just been seated, suggesting that they needed to implement a waiting list system). Having to escape from home due to builders at neighbours' house, we opted for breakfast somewhere quiet. Having a quick Google search gave me here as an option. But due to thinking it was only a sandwich shop, I'd discounted it in the past. But I can say hand on my heart, it was lovely and possibly the best berry pancakes ever!!! My husband had the Richfield fry up, which was quite simply a taste explosion with a recovery smoothie which was really tasty, and I don't like ginger but I felt that the ginger didn't overpower it at all. Coffees as well were nice and not bitter. Both members of staff are super friendly and took the time to chat with us.

Came this morning with a friend for a bit of co-working with a coffee. Kayleigh and Tara were amazing, so nice and helpful. The food was splendid. I had the Mushroom Toastie, and that’s one of the best vegan dishes I’ve seen in a long time, so well done for that! Will definitely come again!
We were then informed that there was a 45-minute wait for food. It would have been more helpful if they had mentioned this from the beginning instead of keeping us waiting. Overall, we felt unwelcome and like we were inconveniencing the staff.
If you don't mind waiting 20 minutes to order a drink, this is the place for you. I have been a loyal customer for over 7 years, often with friends and family. The service used to be excellent, though a bit slow. However, it now takes far too long to place an order for drinks and food. Despite the wait, the food is usually tasty when it finally arrives. Unfortunately, the front of house staff are inexperienced and not very good at their jobs. It's a shame to see the decline in service at a place that used to be so friendly.
