Pizza Express - Reading

The quality of the food is really good, but is expensive for the lack of toppings that they put on the pizzas.

Best pizza in Reading. My favourite one is La Reine. Staff is super friendly and prices really competitive.

Stopped here whilst Christmas shopping last Sunday and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of service. I had expected quite a wait as it was fairly busy, but the waitress who served us was very prompt, without making us feel rushed. There is a good selection of pizza’s on the menu, all of which are freshly cooked to order. You can even swap toppings for your favourite if you wish! A small selection of pasta dishes and salads complete the menu. The children’s menu offers three courses for a set price, plus a colouring pack to keep them entertained. An enjoyable lunchtime treat which I certainly plan on repeating!

Pizza is always hot and tasty. but the waitressing staff were very slow on my last visit.great for young families, or friends. happy hour deals are great value, but the main menu is probably slightly expensive for what you actually get.but a really large range of pizzas, and pastas, and now a good salad bar.

Today I went to the Reading, Oracle Shopping centre branch. The customer service was appalling. The resteraunt was not busy at this time Offered very dirty seat- Ladies toilets were filthy, and handle on door broken- When kindly requested new seats, was responded with a sigh New seats were very sticky- Asked for warm water and staff was very unwilling and hesitant- Once warm water was ready. Staff waved for attention at the bar and got us to go collect from him- While waiting for food, our desk cutlery was taken and not replaced. Eventually had to ask new staff member- Starters arrived after the pizza- Asked for the bill, staff acknowledged however started serving other customers.
