I handed my cv in he glanced at it and asked me to come the next day for a day trial. When I came to my trial they already had my shifts for the week set up. when going into the main kitchen downstairs to put my bag in a locker it smells disgusting with meat left in metal trays not covered and everything left open. It was full of dirt and unwashed dishes. It looked like something you would see on that restaurant inspectors. luckily I never really had to go down there accept when I got my stuff. Most the staff could not talk English. On pay day I went into work and after getting there they said they don't need me today anymore, that night I never received my money. I had to call them constantly asking when i was getting paid. Eventually he told me to go there and collect an envelope with my money in it. I went but was faced with a new waitress that new nothing about this, she asked the other staff but they said nothings there. Then my mum called up and said they need to pay or she will call hm revenue, at this point they replied saying they will not pay as we are threatening. In the end I managed to get I works days a week so altogether days hours in total and got pound!!! I left it at this i could not be asked with the hassle of the stress these low lifes was causing. the other boy that started the same week as me got the sack before payday too with the same problem as me. They are extremely dodgy, unclean and should be closed down!!!!!
