The staff was outstanding and went above and beyond to assist us. They are a true asset to the business. There's even a playground for the kids, making it very family-friendly. Everyone was incredibly accommodating and helpful. We would definitely return for this experience. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Open Lobby Holiday Inn Reading South:
The restaurant hosted an event with around 50 loud guests, which disrupted the atmosphere for hotel guests. The noise affected our evening, and our dining experience was further marred when the server began cleaning the table while one of us was still eating. We won't be returning. View all feedback.
Have eaten here previously but not as good this time
The staff were outstanding and could not do enough for us. A credit to the business. They even set up a play area for the children. Very child freiendly and so, so helpful. We would go back just because of this experience.
After arriving back from a day at legoland we were tired and hungry. The kids food was a buffet which was good though not much choice but as I had to ask where our starters were after 40 minutes the kids had already eaten their food and were starting to get bored which completely ruined our meal . My starter was cold . My husband had steak for his main but wasn't offered a steak knife and it was very hard to get the staffs attention as there was not enough of them. Though they were very kind and helpful and good with the kids some of them looked shattered so it was a surprise to see the same staff for breakfast. The food we had was nice but massively overpriced perhaps to compensate for the free children's food.

The booking system was malfunctioning, and when I arrived, the restaurant was fully booked and had no record of my reservation made through the app. It was quite frustrating.
