Another great thing about this place is that it stays open late, which is a bonus because most chip shops in the area close around 11pm.

However, I have experienced several times that customers come and are very abus... read more I had a very short distance to this Mr. Cod. Never had a dodgy to eat from them. However, I have experienced several times that customers come and are very abusive to the staff. These guys take it in the chin and are respectful for everyone. Come in, be polite, make your order, and if you need to wait, go to the license next door or whatever. Genuinely good food and very patient staff gave all the garbage they have. Will be revisited that I am back in Reading.
