Contribute FeedbackMiah offers a blend of great food and attentive service, making it a promising culinary destination. Diners praise the generous portions and flavorful non-vegetarian dishes, particularly the malai chicken and seikh kebab salan. However, inconsistencies in spice levels and occasional service mishaps can detract from the experience. Guests enjoy unique appetizers and vibrant sauces, while the friendly staff, notably waiter Ruhaman, enhance the ambiance. Despite its lack of a liquor license and sometimes quiet atmosphere, the restaurant provides good value for money, inviting customers to bring their own drinks and promising future visits for a delightful dining experience.
Food is very good. We went for a Set Menu buffet. It was too much food for the 4 of us. Unfortunately, we had to leave it behind, which is a shame. Food is tasty and good quality. Not sure why there are no customers at all. Maybe due Bank Holiday weekend
This was our third visit to Miah’s Garden of Gulab, the first two times we thought the food was fantastic but today the service and food blew us away. The attention to presentation was on point and the flavour for each dish was the best we have tasted for Indian restaurants. The waiter is always friendly and welcoming, we also got to meet the Chef, truly talented. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant.
A really nice venue with great food and great service at a very reasonable price. Our waiter Ruhaman was very polite and nice and made our occasion all the more special!
We placed a £200 order at Eid and requested medium spice level. However, all the curries turned out to be on the sweet side and the lamb dishes were undercooked, had a strong meat smell, and tasted very unpleasant. It was a complete waste of money for us! We were extremely disappointed. Hopefully the manager will take note of this and make improvements. The only dishes that were somewhat edible were the malai chicken and seikh kebab salan. In the end, we had to throw away several packages of lamb.
The curries at this restaurant are always excellent, tasty, and well-seasoned. It's a good value since you can bring your own alcohol. However, the service can be a bit disorganized and there were mix-ups with the chicken and veggie Dhansaks.
