NOT HAPPY! Absolutely appalling service today took my guests for dinner. No heating, naan and curry came before starters everything was warm not piping hot!! We had lots of cold food left over Avoid Charsi Karahi because it’s meat on sauce! The lady at the counter is soo rude! They made us go and get cash to pay the bill View all feedback.
The best kebabs and Karahi dishes in Reading, along with their delicious Qabli Pilaf. Highly recommended.
I was served mouldy bread with my kebab which I didn't discover until I had eaten some of the meat. I mentioned this to a member of staff who looked at me as if it was my fault. He reluctantly offered to put the remaining meat onto another piece of bread but to be honest I was put off at this point and didn't really feel like eating the rest. Had the staff member been a little more polite, I may have considered it. It's a shame as this place was spot on a few years ago. New owners perhaps.
Their food is awesome. Authentic Middle-Eastern kebabs and delicious humus. Charcoal grilled and naans made in a proper tandoor oven. I love this place so much!
I purchased a family takeaway for $29.99 and found it to be a great value. It was enough to feed my family of five twice. The food tasted better than average. The restaurant has more of a cafe feel than a formal dining atmosphere. I would definitely get the takeaway again.
Often visit here with my friends and family, come across it by accident and keep coming back. The chicken is cooked perfectly everytime and the lamb chops taste like they've come straight off a bbq
